Philippines Roadshow 2026 Strengthens Bangladesh–Philippines Tourism Ties Through High-Level B2B Networking Event in Dhaka.
More than 100 leading travel professionals, tour operators, airline representatives, and tourism stakeholders gathered in Dhaka for the Philippines Roadshow 2026 – Bangladesh Edition, an exclusive B2B networking and destination promotion event organized by Shroff Travel, one of the Philippines’ leading Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
Held at the Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka, the roadshow aimed to strengthen tourism cooperation between Bangladesh and the Philippines, enhance destination awareness, create new business opportunities, and foster strategic partnerships among tourism industry stakeholders from both countries.
The event commenced with the arrival and registration of invited travel trade professionals, followed by networking sessions, the national anthems of Bangladesh and the Philippines, and a prayer. The official proceedings began with welcome remarks delivered by Md. Rashedujjaman Fosyal, AGM of InnoGlobe Travel & Tours Ltd., who highlighted the growing potential of outbound tourism from Bangladesh and the importance of international collaboration in developing new travel opportunities for Bangladeshi travelers.
A special inspirational message was delivered by Her Excellency Nina P. Cainglet, Ambassador of the Philippines to Bangladesh, who emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people connections and expanding tourism cooperation between the two friendly nations.
One of the key highlights of the program was the comprehensive destination presentation by Mr. Arjun Shroff, CEO of Shroff Travel, who showcased the Philippines as one of Asia’s most diverse and attractive tourism destinations.
During his presentation, Mr. Arjun Shroff introduced Dr. Md. Taslim Amin Shovon, CEO of InnoGlobe Travel & Tours Ltd., recognizing his contributions to tourism development and international tourism partnerships in Bangladesh. Mr. Shroff also acknowledged Dr. Shovon’s candidacy for the presidency in the upcoming Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) Election 2026–2028, highlighting his active role within the country’s tourism industry.
The roadshow attracted participation from more than 100 representatives of travel agencies, tour operators, destination specialists, and tourism businesses from across Bangladesh, with a strong presence of outbound tour operators seeking new destinations and partnership opportunities for Bangladeshi travelers.
The event was further enriched by the participation of Ms. Sharna Das, Country Manager of Malaysia Airlines, along with senior representatives from Air India & Air Asia.
